55-56 injured in blasts: Maharashtra Chief Minister

Mumbai - 55 to 56 persons were injured in the three blasts which
rocked south Mumbai this evening, Maharashtra Chief Minister
Prithivraj Chavan said.
"As per preliminary reports, about 55 to 56 persons have been injured
in the three blasts and they have been rushed to St George, Nair and
KEM hospitals," Chavan told PTI. He said there is no official
confirmation on number of casualties yet. Chavan said state ATS
officials are at the spots to ascertain the nature of the blasts.
He said blasts were reported in Panchratna building in Diamond Market
area at Opera House, Bank of India branch in Zaveri Bazaar near
Mumbadevi temple and Kabutar Khana near Hanuman temple in Dadar west.
Maharashtra Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said "it is very difficult to
say anything about it. How many casualties or people injured, it is
very difficult to say at this moment. It will take time."
